CT Scan TechnologistJob Title: CT Scan TechnologistProfession: CAT Scan TechSpecialty: Cat ScanDuration: 13 weeksShift: Day12 Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)Experience: One year of CT experienceLicense: Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of MarylandCertifications:Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)Advanced CT certification is preferredCurrent CPR certificationMust-Have: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with advanced certification in CTDescription: Under limited direction of the radiologist, the technologist performs professional duties involved in obtaining proper computer tomography images. The job duties include providing care activities in the presence of patients and may involve invasive biopsy procedures. Work may occasionally require internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information. Contact with external sources involves providing or receiving factual information.
