ASCP Clinical Laboratory ScientistJoin a dedicated healthcare team as a full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist serving the Midwest region. This role involves performing complex diagnostic testing on various body fluids including blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and more. You will be responsible for evaluating test results, quality controls, calibrations, and ensuring accuracy in all laboratory procedures.Work Schedule: The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call duties occur at least twice monthly, with a required response time of 20 minutes, even during adverse weather conditions. Accommodations may be provided during severe weather.EducationA Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field is required.Experience and CertificationCertification through ASCP, NCA, AMT, MT (AMT), MT (HEW), CLS, or an equivalent credential is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate the willingness and ability to cover 24-hour staffing needs, including varied shifts and on-call responsibilities.RequirementsStrong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to respond promptly to on-call situations are essential.
