About the Practice Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging is an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The practice performs evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders and operates a mobile unit that delivers modified barium swallow studies to various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. With a monthly census of approximately 2,300 patients and a staff of 70, the practice has delivered over 400,000 evaluations in a 19‑year period without a single malpractice inquiry or action. Role Overview We are hiring physicians – both full‑time and part‑time – to join our group. Physicians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated. The practice is part of a network that includes sister practices in New England, Texas, and Houston where Professional Imaging was founded in March 2005. Responsibilities Perform clinical evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders. Conduct diagnostic studies, including modified barium swallow studies, using the mobile unit. Schedule and deliver consultations, typically within 24 to 72 hours of receipt of a request, and often the same day depending on volume. Collaborate with speech‑language pathologists and support staff to manage patient care. Qualifications Physicians with varied experience in dysphagia or related fields. The position offers full‑time and part‑time options, and supports physicians at all career stages. Benefits • Annual income of approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more for working 4 to 5 days a week.
