Pediatric Endocrinologist

Overview Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist (BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology) to join a growing group that includes 5 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. The position includes both outpatient care and inpatient service. The team is multidisciplinary, including RN nurse educators, dieticians, social work, and behavioral health. Teaching opportunities exist with pediatric residents and medical students from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, and the School of Medicine at Case. Academic appointments through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine are available. Responsibilities Provide outpatient and inpatient pediatric endocrine care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with nutritionists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and nurse educators to support patient care. Engage in teaching and mentorship of pediatric residents and medical students; participate in academic activities as available. Pursue opportunities for academic development, research, and leadership training; opportunities to work at Cleveland Clinic sites abroad may be available. Qualifications Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Endocrinology. Interest and/or expertise in areas such as thyroid cancer, bone disease, transgender medicine, and type 1 diabetes including automated insulin delivery systems and diabetes research. Strong interest in diabetes care and diabetes research is preferred.
