Certified Surgical Technician (CST), Day Shift, Operating Room

Overview Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Technician for its Operating Department. The technician will assist the surgical team and support safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care, in line with our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Responsibilities Assist the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care Help surgeons during surgery by passing instruments and other sterile supplies Prepare the Operating Room with all necessary supplies Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies Serve as a surgical assistant as needed Assist in ordering and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Work Schedule Employment type: Full Time Hours per week: 40 Shift type: Day Shift Shift schedule: Monday Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hour shifts) or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hour shifts) On-call requirement: Monday Sunday, including holidays Pay Range $29.08 - $42.17 per hour.
