About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the strategic vision and operational excellence of its behavioral health hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that ensure financial sustainability and operational success in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves collaborating with medical staff and community stakeholders to enhance patient services and drive continuous improvement initiatives that elevate quality, performance, and patient satisfaction metrics. The CEO will also oversee talent acquisition and retention, promote effective communication and collaboration across all hospital departments, and ensure fiscal responsibility through strategic planning and resource optimization. Applicants for the CEO position at the behavioral health hospital should have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field, with an MBA or MHA preferred. A minimum of 7 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, specifically in behavioral health, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospital management, compliance, and strategic planning, as well as strong knowledge of financial management, business development, and operational optimization. Experience with JACHO accreditation processes and survey readiness is essential. The role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to ethical standards, and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a healthcare setting.
