Business Development Coordinator needed for a Law Firm! Locations: Orlando, FL or Miami, FL Work Setting: In Office Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Opportunity A well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join its team in either Orlando or Miami . This position supports the firm's business development and client development initiatives by partnering with attorneys, practice groups, and the Marketing & Business Development team. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, attorney-facing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with business development, marketing, sales support, or professional services experience who enjoys coordinating projects, managing details, conducting research, and supporting client growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assist with the implementation of business development initiatives for practice groups and attorneys. Maintain lists of priority clients, prospects, and business development targets. Enter, update, and maintain client, prospect, and opportunity information in the firm's CRM system. Ensure CRM data accuracy through routine maintenance, contact updates, and opportunity tracking. Prepare business development reports and spreadsheets for attorneys and the Marketing & Business Development team. Draft and compile information for pitches, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses. Maintain and update attorney biographies, representative experience, practice descriptions, and other business development materials. Track proposal and pitch submissions and maintain related records. Conduct basic research on prospective clients, companies, and industries. Prepare background materials for attorney meetings, client visits, and business development opportunities. Collaborate with the Marketing team on business development initiatives and marketing campaigns. Maintain business development templates, forms, and departmental resources. Coordinate logistics for client events, conferences, and sponsorships, including registrations, event materials, sponsorship deliverables, and post-event follow-up. Update CRM records and contact information following events and assist with follow-up communications. Maintain and distribute client entertainment tickets and track ticket inventory and usage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field . 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales support, marketing, or professional services. Law firm or professional services experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with marketing professional services and an understanding of attorney professional responsibility guidelines is a plus. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Experience with CRM systems preferred. Skills & Attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with attorneys, clients, coworkers, and external contacts. Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys and marketing professionals. Professional, polished, and highly dependable.
