IT SPECIALIST (APPLICATIONS SOFTWARE)

Job Title
The role involves serving as the lead technical expert on modern automation, low-code, and development environments, among other modern development environments.
Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading technical expertise on modern automation, low-code, and development environments.
- Developing and maintaining applications such as Power Apps, utilizing SharePoint Lists (canvas apps) and Microsoft Dataverse (model-driven apps) as data sources.
- Creating and managing complex workflows and business process automations.
- Analyzing existing processes and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Advising MAHRS senior management on digital transformation and automation strategy, establishing and using new features, enhancements, or initiatives to assess and improve M and RA public websites and private portals.
- Staying abreast of changes and state-of-the-art technology in DON and software arenas and providing strategic advice to upper management relative to these fields.
- Analyzing complex data to identify and recommend DON wide actions needed to improve web sites and private portals and utilizing IT security principles, methods, and procedures to install and configure software.
- Developing business cases, project proposals, and technical roadmaps for new automation initiatives.
- Leading or personally developing requirements to adjust and improve availability, accuracy, and ease of sites and portals for performance and workload measurement.
