Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialized small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining procedures with empathy and clarity
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver optimal diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, quickly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within electronic medical software
• Continuously update knowledge on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a cognate field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
