Job TitleWhat You'll Be DoingProvide total, patient-centered perioperative care by applying the nursing process in a systematic and organized manner, in accordance with facility policies and patient safety standardsCollaborate with patients, families, physicians, anesthesia providers, and ancillary departments to ensure seamless, well-coordinated careCommunicate proactively with the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition, care plans, patient progress, and discharge needsDemonstrate knowledge of nursing responsibilities related to anesthesia administration and monitoringRespond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, exercising sound clinical judgmentSafely transfer patients according to prescribed plans and established protocolsCreate, maintain, and monitor a sterile surgical field throughout proceduresPerform surgical counts in accordance with facility policy and regulatory standardsDispense medications and solutions in compliance with organizational policiesManage and monitor the care of surgical patients before, during, and after proceduresEnsure appropriate equipment and supplies are available based on patient and procedural needsMaintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic health record systems effectivelySalary Range:$40.00–$54.00 per hourThe compensation range listed reflects the anticipated base pay for this position.
