Job Description Director, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Modern Workplace responsible for overseeing the company’s infrastructure, technical operations, architecture, engineering, and IT support across the United States. All U.S. systems and implementations must meet U.S. requirements while adhering to global company policies and strategic initiatives. The candidate must have strong communication and managerial skills, in‑depth knowledge of infrastructure and technologies, and experience with cloud‑based solutions, data security, risk management, and compliance requirements. Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination for the company’s information and technology systems and infrastructure. Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization. Represents the U.S. SCS IT department as needed for client requirements. Designs solutions and supports RFQ processes. Evaluates systems that support end‑users in the productive use of computer hardware and software. Oversees and evaluates system security and backup procedures in coordination with the global IT and Risk teams. Acts as a “hands‑on” leader across several technical disciplines. Provides local and remote management of infrastructure operations consistent with company policies and practices. Manages availability and responsiveness of enterprise technology to ensure compliance and meet organizational goals. Manages vendors responsible for global desk, incident, and problem management processes with a focus on U.S. topics. Supports the purchasing department in coordinating and negotiating services with carriers and vendors necessary for all SCS U.S. sites. Ensures timely resolution of all hardware, software, and database problems, including overseeing disaster recovery operations. Prepares and manages key performance indicators to assure consistent and accurate support. Develops strategic plans and implements objectives of information technology needs to align with growth and global initiatives. Ensures security of information systems, domains, and equipment. Establishes short‑ and long‑range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Serves on planning and policy‑making committees. Qualifications Experience in strategic planning and execution; knowledge of change management. Knowledge of IT computer systems and software; ability to manage the entire spectrum of IT operations. Experience with implementations of IT integrations in a medium division or company. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects. U.S. Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science, or ten years of senior‑level IT experience. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as required. Minimum of 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities for management and support of IT systems in a multi‑location environment. Experience with shared and outsourced solutions and support of in‑house communication systems in a multi‑site client‑server environment. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN design, implementation, and operation in a globally distributed contact center. Hands‑on experience managing an IT environment that meets ISO27001 compliance. Strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development. Solid understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities. Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems. Excellent understanding of information security. Strong management and team‑building experience. Excellent understanding of project management principles. Proven experience in planning, organization, and development. Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business challenges. In‑depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to technology issues. Knowledge of office productivity software. Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to negotiate and defuse conflict. Self‑motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative. Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally when necessary. Demonstrated ability to: Relate to all levels of the user community. Communicate effectively to clients. Be a team player motivating and educating other team members. Work effectively within international teams. Plan, implement and support systems in a complex environment. Set and manage priorities.
