PrideNow, a Pride Global company, is a nationwide Light Industrial staffing agency committed to delivering results and redefining the staffing experience. As part of a minority-owned organization, we partner with a wide range of Light Industrial clients to support temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire needs—bringing a modern, people-first approach to workforce solutions. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team to support our efforts at the top of the sales funnel. The BDM will use creative prospecting methods to identify and qualify potential new opportunities. We’re not a “salesy” organization, so we’re looking for someone with a warm and congenial approach to business development. We want to position ourselves as a strategic partner to clients, and that starts with a pleasant initial experience with our sales team. Responsibilities Client prospecting and prospect list management. Prospect and build targeted lists of potential clients within your assigned market. Conduct cold calls, emails, and other outreach to identify and engage new business opportunities. Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities. Deliver concise sales pitches and introduce qualified prospects to the sales team for deal development. Research market trends to identify new industries, companies, and growth opportunities. Maintain accurate pipeline activity, outreach tracking, and client data within the CRM system. Meet or exceed outreach, pipeline, and performance metrics while supporting overall revenue growth. Qualifications 1+ year of staffing industry experience Cold calling and outbound business development experience required Ability to build credibility and develop strong relationships with clients and candidates Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ATS and CRM tools such as HubSpot preferred Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Career-driven, creative, and motivated to grow within a recruiting organization Missing something?
