Job Description

The Production Quality Technician is responsible for supporting product and process quality control within a production environment. This role monitors daily production activity, performs in-process inspections, documents quality findings, and helps ensure compliance with internal, customer, regulatory, and IATF16949 quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable using handheld gauges while working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor production operations to confirm compliance with defined processes, product requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using small handheld gauges and document results accurately.
• Provide daily written reports to the Quality Manager regarding production activity, inspection results, and quality concerns.
• Ensure proper product identification, traceability, documentation, and follow-up on quality-related findings.
• Maintain safe work practices, good housekeeping, and compliance with company safety, personnel, ISO/IATF16949, and quality policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a quality technician, quality inspection, production quality, or related manufacturing role.
• Proficiency using small handheld gauges and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise directions and complete accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, use sound judgment, communicate clearly, and work with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience or knowledge of plastics, extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding operations.

The base pay range for this position is$16.50, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
