We operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with multiple locations across Southern California. As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced HR professional to help strengthen our people operations, compliance, and organizational structure.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Senior HR Manager / HR Operations Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership to support business growth.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategic involvement and operational execution. You will have the ability to influence decisions, improve processes, and build a stronger HR foundation while working closely with company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations
• Manage employee relations, investigations, coaching, and disciplinary processes
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws and employment regulations
• Oversee payroll administration and HRIS management (ADP experience required)
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
• Partner with department managers on performance management and workforce planning
• Manage and develop the HR administrative team
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation
• Support organizational growth through process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance
• Hands-on payroll experience
• Experience using ADP payroll and HR systems
• Employee relations and investigation experience
• Experience supporting multi-site operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred

• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or other operational environments
• Experience supporting companies with 50–500 employees
• Experience improving HR processes and systems in a growing organization

Compensation

• Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
• Performance-Based Bonus
