Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst supporting Cepheid's corporate finance team in Sunnyvale. Responsible for developing budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and partnering with business leaders to drive financial planning and operational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with G&A leaders to review actuals, analyze variances, and provide recommendations on forecasts
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly management review packages
- Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis for headcount, operating expenses, and capital planning
- Perform quarterly and annual forecast modeling to support business planning decisions
- Support cross-functional projects and ad-hoc analysis to improve business profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 4+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP or planning applications (SAP or OneStream preferred)
Compensation: $125,000-$140,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay eligible
