About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and communicating critical financial information to internal and external stakeholders. You will conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting organizational investment programs and play a lead role in forecasting our financial position. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses deep expertise in healthcare finance, specifically within Managed Care and Medicaid. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Lead the month-end close process, including revenue analysis, balance sheet management, and comprehensive account reconciliations. Prepare and process standard journal entries and create robust, detailed Excel reports. Direct the preparation of core financial reports—such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses—to summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position. Collaborate with the team to develop and finalize comprehensive quarterly financial reports. Regulatory & Healthcare Compliance Prepare specialized reports required by regulatory authorities. Spearhead Medicaid reporting initiatives, ensuring all state and federal deliverables are met accurately and on time. Strategic Finance & Cash Management Direct and manage organizational budgets to ensure all financial goals are met. Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated financial risks, and supervise daily cash management activities. Assist in executing capital-raising strategies to support organizational expansion and growth. Credit & Risk Operations Oversee the firm’s credit issuance processes, including establishing credit-rating criteria and determining credit ceilings. Monitor and manage the collection of past-due accounts. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related financial discipline. Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive financial and/or accounting experience. Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working with Medicaid and/or Managed Care reporting and financial structures. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex modeling) and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
