HVAC Installation Technician

Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Installation Technicians for projects located in or around New Haven, CT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $40-$45/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Running line sets at new construction builds Routing-Pulling, bending and routing copper pipes (the liquid and suction lines) through walls, attics and crawlspaces Preparation-Sizing lines and cutting tubing according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes Insulation-Installing closed-cell foam insulation on suction lines and wrapping lines to prevent condensation and thermal loss. Sealing-Sealing wall penetrations with spray foam or caulk to block air, moisture and pests Securing-Using straps and hangers to secure piping at specific intervals depending on guidelines to prevent structural strains Testing-Assisting lead techs with pressure testing and leak detection Requirements: Valid S2 or DE license for CT Basic understanding on HVAC refrigeration cycles, airflow and how to operate tools like pipe bender, flaring tools and torque wrenches Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
