Job Overview The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the High School Mathematics Teacher - Grades 9-12. OHCHS is seeking a talented mathematics teacher who will engage students in a relevant and rigorous mathematics education in a collaborative setting. The person's teaching assignments will be based on the best fit for the candidate's skill sets. Qualifications Candidates must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s). Reports To Building Principal Work Schedule 180 Day Contract Salary $46,012.50 - $81,329.34 (SY26/27) Benefits MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full-time employees, including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental, vision, Group Life Insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; Maine Public Employee Pension, 403(b) retirement plan eligibility; 15 paid sick days per year; and tuition reimbursement. Instructional Staff Responsibilities Instilling problem-solving and critical thinking as a \"new basics\" for learning across all grade levels; Delivering strong literacy instruction across content areas; Helping student develop skills to apply, interpret, analyze, and evaluate the vast, ever-expanding amount of information; Employing effective lesson design by adjusting it to students' personal learning needs and preferences, including appropriate technology applications.
