We're seeking an independently licensed Clinical Manager to provide leadership for a community-based Sobering & Deflection Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a growing program focused on harm reduction, recovery, and person-centered care. Position Overview As the Clinical Manager, you'll oversee daily clinical operations while leading a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, case managers, peer support specialists, and other clinical staff. You'll foster a collaborative, trauma-informed environment focused on stabilization, recovery, and positive community outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Sobering & Deflection Center. Supervise behavioral health clinicians, case managers, peer support specialists, and other clinical staff. Provide clinical supervision to assigned team members, as appropriate. Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered care throughout the program. Support crisis intervention, clinical decision-making, and de-escalation in high-acuity situations. Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, EMS, hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners to coordinate care. Assist with staff onboarding, coaching, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. Monitor documentation quality, regulatory compliance, and program performance. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident reviews, and operational planning. Foster a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for both clients and staff. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or a related field required. Active independent Oregon licensure required (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT). Previous leadership or supervisory experience within behavioral health, crisis services, substance use treatment, or community-based programs strongly preferred. Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and behavioral health crises. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
