Floor Supervisor Summary The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily dispensary operations, delivering an exceptional patient experience, and providing leadership to the retail team during assigned shifts. This role serves as a Leader on Duty, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. Day in the Life: Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and visitors. Greet patients and visitors, complete check-in, verify eligibility for medical marijuana, and ensure accurate, compliant transactions and fulfillment of patient orders while delivering a high-quality customer experience. Educate and assist patients in understanding medical marijuana to support informed decisions about their care. Assist patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration. Support the intake and onboarding of new patients, including orientation to TerrAscend policies, rules, and procedures. Manage and maintain accurate patient records within the MJ Freeway system. Maintain thorough product knowledge and respond to patient questions or concerns promptly and efficiently, escalating to a dispensary healthcare practitioner or management team when appropriate. Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines. Deliver a distinctive and positive patient experience by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) while ensuring patient confidentiality and security. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and caregivers by anticipating needs and providing proactive support. Follow established policies and procedures related to customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security. Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily operations, including Leader on Duty (LOD) responsibilities, floor zoning, and hourly tracking; partner with the Inventory Manager to ensure back‑of‑house processes run effectively. Assist senior dispensary leadership as needed to support overall store operations. Serve as an effective leadership across seed-to-sale tracking systems, POS systems, Leaf Trade, and eCommerce platforms. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Cannabis experience a plus. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Ability to create and maintain a customer‑focused culture. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong organizational, communication, computer, and multitasking skills. $25.25 - $25.25 an hour
