Job Description Micro Paradox is looking for a creative, energetic Content Creator to capture and share the daily life of our company. This person will spend much of their time in our laboratories, greenhouses, growing grounds, and shipping areas creating engaging photo and video content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This is a hands-on creative role. You will work closely with our production, greenhouse, and sales teams to showcase our products, people, and processes in a way that educates, entertains, and inspires. If you enjoy storytelling, photography, videography, editing, and plants, this is an opportunity to build something unique. Our ideal candidate is naturally curious and enjoys learning how things work. You notice interesting moments that others overlook and know how to turn them into engaging content. You enjoy being behind a camera, editing videos, and finding creative ways to tell stories. You don't need to be a plant expert - we can teach you that! We are looking for someone who is excited to learn, enjoys creating, and wants to help build brands that people genuinely enjoy following. About Us Micro Paradox is a specialty plant laboratory that produces disease-free, lab-propagated plants for commercial nurseries across the United States and internationally. Our plants are grown using tissue culture, a propagation method that ensures they are clean, uniform, and true to type. Micro Paradox offers a unique work environment: a small, highly technical operation where the work is hands-on, our products and services continue to grow and evolve, and the impact of what we produce can be seen in grocery stores and plant nurseries in the United States and beyond. What You'll Do Capture photo and video content throughout our facilities on a daily basis Film customer visits, trade shows, and company events Document behind-the-scenes operations including tissue culture, greenhouse production, acclimation, shipping, research, and product development Create educational and entertaining content around plant care and propagation for Micro Paradox and its associated brands Photograph products for our websites, catalogs, and marketing materials Produce engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts Help establish consistent visual branding and messaging Assist with new product launches and seasonal campaigns, coordinating content around product availability and promotions Work with the marketing team to develop monthly content calendars Support email marketing, website updates, and digital campaigns with photography and video assets Build and maintain an organized media library of photos and videos Explore new content ideas, trends, and storytelling formats Experiment with new platforms and creative approaches What We're Looking For Preferred: Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms Strong photography and videography skills Experience editing videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling Strong written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Bonus Experience: Plant knowledge or horticulture background Graphic design experience Drone photography Adobe Creative Suite Shopify or website content management Experience growing social media accounts Compensation & Benefits $22.00-24.00/hour, depending on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and sick leave 4% matching 401(k) after 1 year Work hours Monday through Friday Equal Opportunity Employer Micro Paradox provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
