Senior Accountant

MedaHealth is an established health and life insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Accountant to take ownership of commission processing and financial operations. You'll work directly with leadership, managing commission statements from a variety of insurance carriers and processing commissions to pay the field. This is a role for a seasoned professional who can step in and manage the function independently from day one. Responsibilities Reconcile commission statements from multiple vendors and carriers Ensure accurate and timely payments to agents and teams Track chargebacks, bonuses, and adjustments Support monthly financial reporting and tax preparation Qualifications 3+ years of professional accounting experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong Excel and data management skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive salary starting at $120k based on experience Bonuses based on performance Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays A central role where you own a core function and work directly with leadership We're actively interviewing and looking to bring the right person on board.
