Human Resources Generalist

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This role is based in Davenport, IA.The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, promoting Eaton values and providing timely HR support.• Support hourly talent acquisition activities, including candidate pipeline development, diversity and veteran outreach, career fair participation, and partnership with hiring managers.• Support employer branding through internal communications, community outreach, and recruitment initiatives.• Coordinate and improve onboarding and orientation processes to enhance employee engagement and retention.• Serve as a local subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll inquiries, partnering with centralized HR and payroll teams as needed.• Support employee relations efforts by responding to employee concerns and applying company policies and procedures consistently.• Generate and analyze standard and ad hoc reports for compliance, budgeting, auditing, and workforce planning purposes.• Facilitate and participate in employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, and community involvement initiatives.• Partner with HR Services to process employee record updates, compensation changes, and audits.• Administer voluntary and involuntary separation processes, including exit documentation and offboarding activities.• Prepare and distribute HR-related communications.• Participate in annual HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.#LI-LD1Qualifications:Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution• Minimum 1 year of human resource experience• No relocation will be offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 70 mile radius of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered for this position. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.”Desired Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.• 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or unionized environment.• Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, EEO, FLSA, and FMLA.• Experience supporting employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes.• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.• Demonstrated project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
