Data Analytics And Cloud Project Manager

TEKsystems is looking for a Program/Project Manager with experience large data engineering and data migration projects. The position requires three days onsite in Dearborn, Michigan.Key Responsibilities• Serve as technical lead for data engineering, owning architecture and delivery • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and models on GCP • Lead migration from Alteryx to GCP-based ETL and reporting • Define data engineering standards and best practices • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions • Lead and mentor distributed data engineering teams • Ensure data quality and integrity across systems • Heavily leverage Python, SQL and GCP’s native data services • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning • Identify risks and lead mitigation strategies Required Qualifications• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or platform development • Experience leading enterprise data engineering initiatives • Hands-on experience with GCP or other cloud platforms • Strong expertise in data pipelines, modeling, and ETL/ELT • Experience working with complex data environments • Experience leading global teams • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience with Agile methodologies Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Alteryx or similar tools • Background in data platform modernization • Experience in automotive or service operations data • Familiarity with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.) • Experience with data governance and quality frameworks Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
