How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Evaluate patients with respiratory insufficiencies to determine the appropriate type and frequency of treatments, developing a customized plan of care based on their specific diagnosis.
• Administer advanced respiratory care modalities, manage specialized equipment, and respond rapidly as a member of the emergency resuscitation code team.
• Continuous monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient condition; evaluate the effectiveness of practices, medications, and treatments based on patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding their respiratory health conditions, while connecting them with community support groups and available care programs.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
