Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 04:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and complete required incident documentation. Help support the orderly movement of people and vehicles around shipping and receiving operations while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
