About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on real estate to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's real estate activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, zoning, and land use. This role requires a hands-on, self-starting individual with a strong background in contract negotiation, real estate, and corporate law. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for managing and overseeing various real estate matters, leading the negotiation and drafting of legal documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Additionally, the role may involve handling non-real estate legal and general business matters as needed. Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, at least 6 years of experience in the relevant legal areas, and a proven track record of providing sound legal and business judgment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities. The role demands a high level of confidentiality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems are also required.
