Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Center
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVDs)
• Support cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery patient populations
• Perform and interpret laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Float between units or sister facilities as needed to support staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, CV surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery
• Ability to work weekend shifts to fulfill unit needs (6 weekend shifts expected per contract)
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity trauma and surgical ICU patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across multiple ICU or step-down unit environments
