Research Speech Pathologist Per diem hourly rate speech-language pathologist, University ofUtah, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, AphasiaCommunication and Participation Lab. Responsible for assisting LabDirector with a variety of research activities focused on improvingcommunication, quality of life and participation in individualswith aphasia. Responsibilities include assisting with datamanagement and analyses, engaging in participant recruitment andassisting with aphasia group programming. Salary This is not a salaried position. Hourly rate compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Minimum Qualifications Required Current licensure to practice as a Speech Pathologist in the Stateof Utah. Preferred Experience in the following areas; dysphagia, stroke, head trauma, diffuse brain pathology, neurologic diseases and disorders, developmental language delay, dysfluency, voice pathology, motorspeech disorders, cognitive disorders or equivalency (one year ofeducation can be substituted for two years of related workexperience). Preferences Graduate degree in Speech-Langauge Pathology, Certificate ofClinical Competency from the American Speech-Language HearingAssociation (ASHA CCCs).
