Benefits Operations Specialist (Benefits Team) This individual contributor role is part of the Employer of Record (EOR) Operations team. As a critical extension of our clients’ HR teams, EOR Ops team members navigate and advise on the intricate paths of global employment in over 90+ countries. On this team, your work directly influences our customer journey and employee experience with their benefits. You will report to our Benefits Operations Manager. What you bring Provide delightful support to Employees and Clients regarding benefits in multiple areas: plans attributes, enrollment/unenrollment, invoicing/billing, platform usage. Process and resolve tickets and escalations via Zendesk/email. Execute data‑related tasks with care and precision (preparation, entry, download). Help define, detail and execute Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate closely with the Benefits team and other Remote departments to analyze customers’ needs and deliver solutions. Provide analytical, administrative and technical support to maintain benefits programs. Maintain operations process documents and find automation possibilities. Research and distill knowledge in Notion. Start initiatives and get things done (go from “scout to scale”). Champion Remote’s values and the Benefits team’s goals. Key Responsibilities Experience in HR Operations Employee Benefits, ideally in PEO services context. Obsessed with providing excellent customer service. Strong organization and time‑management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills at all levels. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multi‑task across tech tools. Fluent English (written and spoken). Embrace AI and automation to work more efficiently. Remote work experience is a plus.
