Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor vital signs and read fetal monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications including Pitocin and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist with epidurals, C-sections, and other obstetric procedures.
• Educate and support mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care.
• Collaborate with team members to adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license; must obtain Alaska RN license upon assignment offer.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Charge experience preferred or willingness to train as charge.
• Experience with Epic charting system is advantageous.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts as scheduled.
