Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in high-risk labor and delivery settings.
• Perform assessments, document patient progress, and develop care plans.
• Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, and monitor patient response.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed.
• Educate and support families during labor, birth, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current AK RN license in hand (pending licenses acceptable for submission).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate, and NRP required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to float to like units within the facility as needed.
