Managing Consultant, Land Services Project Manager

ERM is seeking an experienced and motivated Land Services Project Manager to join our growing Capital Project Delivery (CPD) team in the Mid‑Atlantic Region . What Your Impact Is:
- Lead and manage multiple land services projects from planning through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients—building long‑term relationships while identifying opportunities to support evolving project needs.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, property owners, land agents, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and positive outcomes.
- Mentor and guide project teams, supporting collaboration, workflow planning, and professional growth.
- Contribute to ERM’s continued growth through proposal development, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- 4+ years required (8–12 years preferred) of consulting experience with demonstrated responsibility for project management, relationship management, and team leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while coordinating cohesive delivery teams.
- Strong technical competence in land services, title research, valuation studies (excluding appraisals), permitting, or related activities.
- Experience developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Well‑developed leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills, with a reputation for integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred
- Experience supporting capital projects across energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated success in developing or implementing growth strategies.
- Prior experience supervising land agents, subcontractors, or technical support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Develop proposals, scopes of work, budgets, project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Oversee or review deed and title research, land valuation studies, permitting applications, and related documentation.
- Support preparation and submission of permits, licenses, and bonds (e.g., road/rail crossings, building permits, hauling permits).
- Investigate and support resolution of damage claims, assessments, and settlement negotiations.
- Supervise and coordinate support staff, land agents, and subcontractors.
- Support workflow planning, resource allocation, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
