The Accountant will work closely with the accounting team and the Accounting Supervisor based in our Minneapolis location. You will be part of a growing team helping to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to the organization. Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP system preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Compile and post journal entries and accruals. Maintain monthly and year-end balance sheet reconciliations. Review financial data and accounting records for accuracy. Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports. Support Sales/Use Tax reporting, compliance filings, and unclaimed property reporting. Support departmental process improvements and perform ad hoc tasks as needed. Will perform other related work as assigned. In the absence of this employee, the direct manager or appointee will cover responsibilities.
