Concessions SupervisorThe Concessions Supervisor oversees daily food and beverage operations at RailRiders games and events, ensuring efficient service, quality standards, and an excellent fan experience. This role supervises and trains concessions staff, manages inventory and cash handling, ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and coordinates with management to meet sales and operational goals. The Concessions Supervisor also handles customer concerns, supports event setup and breakdown, and helps maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming concessions environment throughout the ballpark.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Supervise and support concessions staff during games and special events to ensure smooth, efficient operationsTrain, coach, and motivate team members on customer service, food preparation, and safety proceduresEnsure all concession stands comply with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulationsMonitor product quality, portion control, and presentation standardsManage inventory and tracking food, beverage, and supply levelsOversee cash handling procedures, POS operations, and end-of-shift reconciliationAddress and resolves guest questions or concerns promptly to enhance the fan experienceCoordinate setup and breakdown of concession areas before and after eventsEnforce company policies, stadium rules, and safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with management regarding staff needs, sales performance, and operational issuesAssist with scheduling and adjusting staffing levels based on attendance and event demandsSupport overall ballpark operations as needed to ensure a positive and memorable guest experienceQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of agePrevious experience in food service, concessions, hospitality, or retail operations preferred.Prior lead, supervisory, or key-holder experience strongly preferredExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (stadium, arena, restaurant) preferredExperience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and inventory managementDemonstrated ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff effectivelyStrong customer service background with the ability to lead and train a teamFamiliarity with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations preferredSkills and abilities:Strong leadership and team supervision skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentExcellent customer service and guest-relations abilities with a fan-first mindset.Effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to train, motivate, and coach a diverse staffKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling proceduresAbility to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure during peak service timesFlexibility to adapt to changing any operational needsAbility to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, sun exposure, and other outdoor conditions.Working conditions:Ability to stand or walk for extended periods throughout games and eventsFrequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting while working in concession areasAbility to lift and carry food, beverage, and supply items, typically 25-50 poundsAbility to move quickly and safely to address guest needs or support staff during peak service periodsStamina to work long shifts, including evenings, weekends, and consecutive event daysAbility to work in hot, fast-paced, and sometimes cramped concession areas, including near grills, fryers, and steam tablesLegends Global is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, and encourages Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and protected Veterans to apply.
