Mechanical engineer

job summary:
Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing is looking for two mechanical engineers in the New Kensington, PA location. Key qualifications include, three years of medical device experience, along with SAP and Creo knowledge. A bachelors degree in a relevant field is required.

• Design & Product Development: Lead the design and continuous refinement of complex medical device components with minimal supervision, integrating testing, user feedback, and market trends.

• Testing & Quality Compliance: Create robust validation test plans and ensure strict adherence to high-quality regulatory standards, company policies, and operational excellence.

• Technical Problem-Solving: Resolve advanced, multifaceted technical issues across hardware and software to prevent production downtime and monitor long-term system reliability.

• Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, manage relationships with internal/external partners, and evaluate/approve technologies from external suppliers.

• Strategic Communication & Process Improvement: Present technical findings and proposals to senior executives while driving advanced engineering best practices to accelerate time-to-market.

• Experience level: Experienced
