Nurse PractitionerA well-established gastroenterology practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient team.The ideal candidate will have direct GI experience in an outpatient practice or clinic setting. Candidates with hospital experience may also be considered if their background includes substantial outpatient GI clinic work.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditionsConduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-up visitsDevelop treatment plans in collaboration with physiciansReview laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic informationEducate patients about their conditions and treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationJob RequirementsLicensed Nurse Practitioner in New York StatePrevious gastroenterology experience requiredOutpatient or GI clinic experience requiredSpanish-language skills are a plusStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative practice
