The role involves helping clients navigate cultural and language barriers to access necessary mental health, medical, social, and educational services. Impact Provide culturally appropriate, trauma‑informed counseling to individuals, families, and groups Maintain an active caseload, including case notes and records in alignment with agency documentation standards Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs and referrals to medication management or other adjunctive services (e.g., support group, peer support, case management) Apply evidence‑based practices in treatment Collaborate with consumer supports, including family members, partner agencies, and others as indicated on an ongoing basis Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members, and facilitate development of a positive staff support network Qualifications Fluency in English and Spanish or Vietnamese Master’s degree in Counseling, Art Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution Valid credentials: QMHP, LPCA, LPC, LCSWA, LCSW Clearances: Standard LCSNW criminal clearance, including national sex offender, ORCHARDS, SAM/OIG required.
