Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist

Schedule - M-F between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. One to two weeknight of call, every fourth weekend. Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR and Left Atrial Appendage Closure

Job Duties:

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies.
• Prepares patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique.
• After procedure, prepares equipment/supplies for sterilization.
• Monitors and records all procedural data and maintains procedural event logs.
• Provides patient comfort while familiarizing him/her with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure.
• Applies the necessary monitors and prepares access site(s) including the necessary sterile drapes.
