Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, not-for-profit organization that has provided healthcare services to the community since 1998. The facility has 225 licensed beds, nine operating rooms, a labor and delivery suite with Level II NICU, a four-room catheterization lab, a 24-bed intensive care unit, and an ambulatory surgery center with five operating rooms. On site, the busy emergency department treats an average of 65,000 patients each year.

Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
