Report to head chef as stock runs low./liliClean all kitchen equipment before and after use./liliMaintain cleanliness of kitchen./liliCooks dishes under the supervision of the chef./liliCoordinate with other kitchen staff./liliMaintains confidentiality of sensitive information./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment./liliAttention to detail and ability to multitask./liliKnowledge of kitchen tools and utensils a proper knowledge of the kitchen tools and utensils is required in order to perform the specific tasks and requirements./liliWork well under pressure and possess good learning skills./liliExcellent communication skills the kitchens staff works mainly under pressure, so conveying the message clearly, concise and in a polite manner is essential for good collaboration and strong overall results./liliGreat endurance as most of the prep cook work is done standing, repeatedly moving arms and hands, and lifting and carrying at least 40 lbs./liliMust possess a valid food handlers license./liliMust be willing to work in a smoking environment./liliMust be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliCulinary school certificate./liliOne (1) year experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant./li/ulh3Work Shift/h3pWages:/ppThis role offers a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.
