Position Summary The Social Services Director provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for Snowline Health's social services programs, including hospice and bereavement services. This role ensures delivery of high-quality psychosocial care that aligns with patient goals, promotes dignity, and supports families throughout the care continuum. Responsibilities include: - Provide leadership and oversight of social services programs and staff - Supervise, mentor, and support social workers and related team members - Ensure delivery of compassionate, high-quality psychosocial care - Lead program development and continuous improvement initiatives - Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to optimize patient outcomes - Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards - Oversee documentation quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency - Support staff engagement, training, and professional development - Partner with community organizations and external agencies - Assist with complex patient, family, and staff situations - Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence Salary Description Competitive, market-aligned salary based on experience and internal equity Requirements - Master of Social Work (MSW) required - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred - Advanced certification (e.g., ACHP-SW) preferred - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare, hospice, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience - Experience with program development preferred - Experience supporting patients and families with grief, loss, and end-of-life care - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Salary Description
