Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Marshfield, MA. The Service Manager will oversee the maintenance operations of the property, ensure prompt resolution of service requests, and manage all maintenance staff. Key responsibilities include scheduling preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, supervising repairs, managing maintenance budgets, and maintaining excellent relationships with residents and vendors. Qualifications Technical and Maintenance Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and addressing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance-related issues; knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. Management and Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage a maintenance team, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance on operational priorities. Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong aptitude for scheduling maintenance tasks, maintaining inventory, and addressing issues in a timely and efficient manner. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with residents, team members, and third-party vendors. Additional Qualifications: Prior experience in property management or maintenance operations management; high school diploma or equivalent required (technical certifications preferred).
