Production Operator- 2nd shift

Production OperatorNesco Resource is sourcing for a Production Operator for our client in Clinton Township, MI. This is a contract to hire job opportunity. Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday (overtime based upon production needs) Pay rate: $15.50 per hour. Job Summary: The Production Operator will perform all tasks involved in the packaging of literature kits. Work will be done within a team environment; the ability to work as a collaborative team member and live up to all company values is paramount.Duties/Responsibilities:Read work orders and perform work as directed by department supervisorAssemble and package owner's literature kits by placing the correct components, in the correct sequence into the indicated work order package.Attach the correct labels onto the kits, totes, boxes & palletsPack finished kits into the correct boxes, totes and/or palletsTrack production on schedule boardsNotify supervisor of any quality or mechanical issues.Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is safe, accurate, and efficientMaintain a safe & clean work environment.Perform other related duties and assignments as required.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAble to perform basic mathPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
