PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Duties

Help

Serves as the Air National Guard (ANG) single point of contact for programming actions relative to the future combat capability of ANG weather assets.

Serves as Component Career Field Manager (CFM) for all ANG 15W WESOs and 1W0 Weather Operators across the entire Air National Guard and Functional Area Manager for all ANG Combat Weather Flights, ANG Weather Schoolhouse and all Weather PEC manpower support Air National Guard and Army National Guard units.

Represents the Chief, National Guard Bureau (CNGB), Directors of the National Guard Bureau and the Air National Guard and coordinates with DoD, HQ USAF, MAJCOMs, the Air Force Weather (AFW), United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Executes fiscal Management of the ANG program workday, O&M and MILPERS allocations for all ANG Weather Personnel across the various supported mission profiles. Programs, tracks, and validates annual requirements for various types of workdays O&M and MilPers resources to meet training, exercise and readiness requirements.
