Position Summary

The Front Office Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in the daily operations of our practice. This position combines patient service, scheduling, administrative support, insurance and private pay coordination, and communication with healthcare providers.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a motivated and dependable professional with at least two years prior experience in a medical, psychiatric, behavioral health, or healthcare office setting. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in patient coordination and administrative support and is eager to continue building a long-term career in healthcare administration.

You will be successful in this role if you are organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and committed to providing exceptional patient service. Required

• At least 2 years previous experience in a medical or healthcare office environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Experience managing office emails, voicemails and incoming communications
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Adobe and general office technology
• Experience with EHR systems and scheduling software

Preferred experience

• Medical, psychiatric, or behavioral health office experience 
• Insurance verification and prior authorizations 
• Patient scheduling and coordination 
• HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information 
• Telehealth, sending zoom links
• Sending invoices and verifying payment prior to appointments
