This contract opportunity is designed for passionate School Psychologists ready to dedicate their expertise and compassion to the Oak Lawn area. Working a consistent 35 hours per week, from 8am-3pm, you'll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and students to help foster a positive and productive learning environment.

Ideal qualifications and experience include:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist credential in Illinois
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to both new and seasoned professionals
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with evaluation procedures, including Evals and Re-evals
• Ability to support and participate in multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings

Key responsibilities for this contract role:

• Conduct student assessments and re-evaluations to support academic and social-emotional needs
• Lead and contribute to IEP meetings, delivering clear recommendations and advocating for student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Offer crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
• Help create supportive, inclusive school climates for all learners
