Summary Job Description Baptist Health LaGrange is seeking to hire a part time, 24 hour per week, Radiology Tech II. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures supporting the Diagnostic Imaging department’s mission to deliver accurate, timely results and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Verifying patient information and orders Following exam protocols Monitoring patients during procedures Using proper venous access, aseptic technique, and radiation safety practices Assisting radiologists as needed Responding promptly to STAT and routine requests Providing patient education using Teach Back methodology Maintaining a clean, professional work environment Operating imaging equipment and PACS efficiently Producing high-quality images with minimal repeats Ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Labeling images per policy Collecting patient histories Completing incident reports as needed Verifying accurate charge capture Requirements Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology Kentucky License (KBMIRT) ARRT registry within 90 days BLS certification within 90 days No prior experience required Work Experience Education If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
