What You'll Do

• Process purchase orders, transfers, and material requisitions with a high level of accuracy.

• Coordinate the purchasing of materials, products, and services to support business operations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal business partners.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control, stock takes, and inventory accuracy.

• Track in-transit inventory and assist with returns and reverse logistics.

• Review vendor invoices and partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.

• Process inventory receipts and item journals within the ERP system.

• Respond promptly to internal customer requests and purchasing inquiries.

• Support month-end purchasing activities and ensure timely completion of required documentation.

• Maintain purchasing records, data entry, and administrative documentation with exceptional accuracy.

• Assist with periodic audits and continuously support process improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Inventory, Finance, and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, customer service, or administrative experience.

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working with purchase orders, vendor communications, or inventory is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Experience using ERP or purchasing systems is preferred.

• Microsoft Dynamics/Navision experience is a plus.

• Experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution environments is a plus but not required.
