Student Worker - Recruitment Ambassador- Music Department Academic Year 2026-2027

The Music Department is looking for student workers for our Recruitment Office.

MUST be a music major. Knowledge of the Tell School of Music. Ability to work at least 4 hours a week. Ability to work with faculty and staff. Must be at least in freshman spring. Basic knowledge of office procedures. Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).

Job duties include processing auditions and sending confirmation emails, sending audition and recruitment event reminder emails, monitoring Outlook and answering audition and recruitment event questions, putting together auditions and general recruitment folders, monitoring inventory of recruitment materials, keeping in contact with Exploratory Program, keeping track of faculty contact with prospective students and auditionees, preparing for audition days and recruitment events, collaborating with faculty members, leading role in marketing, developing verbiage and content for social media posts and Constant Contact emails, maintaining all social media websites for Tell School of Music, sending emails to HS teachers, completing a weekly Slate Report, making contact and assisting prospective students through the audition process, developing and maintaining spreadsheets, timelines, virtual folders, presentations for recruitment events, coordinating and managing recruitment events, and playing a role in marketing.

Working conditions and physical effort include being able to sit and use a computer for the length of shift, being able to lift packages at most 10lbs, and being able to walk for a length of shift.
